I string rackets out of my home near Robinswood Tennis Center. Thousands of frames over the years, a Wilson Baiardo calibrated every fifty rackets, and every job labelled with the string, the tension and the dynamic tension it actually came off the machine at.

Most of my clients are academy players from Tier 1 and Gorin, but I am just as happy stringing for a Saturday league team. If you are in the local USTA community we have probably crossed paths already — stop and say hi.

What it costs

Labor is flat and the string is separate — pick whichever one you want from the wall below and add it to the labor. No upcharge for a hybrid, and no upcharge for a same-day job when the queue allows one.

Racket matching	Swingweight, balance and static weight brought into line across your frames. Matching works toward the heaviest swingweight in the set, so not every combination of rackets can be matched — I will tell you honestly before starting.	$30per racket
Grommet kit installation	Fitted while the racket is already on the bench. Worth doing the moment the grommets start cutting string.	$10per kit

Same day is often possible depending on the queue. It comes back labelled with the string, tension and dynamic tension.

What I string on

The machine matters more than most players realise. Constant pull holds the reference tension through the whole pull instead of dropping off the moment the string relaxes — which is why two rackets strung a month apart come back feeling the same.

Constant-pull electronic tensioner with a six-point mounting system. Maintained regularly and calibrated every fifty rackets, so the number on the display is the number in your string bed.
